Poor Customer Service

I contracted with Cleaning Authority in November, 2018. The first cleaning was average and I assumed that they would get better with each rotation but it didn't, they only got worse.

The services promised via the contract were never fulfilled and the cleaners lack attention to detail. After my 3rd cleaning, I complained that the detailed cleaning had not been done. The owners promised that they would have the cleaners complete for the next scheduled cleaning, but it was never done. When I contacted the office to advise them of this they sided with the cleaners despite the pics I sent as evidence of missed items.

This is one of the worse cleaning services (franchises) ever and this company needs to be out of business. The cleaning prices are not in align with the services provided, and the owners lack integrity.

Poor customer service and inconsistency in keeping appointments

I used this company for over a year and tried to be patient when they kept changing the staff and postponing my date for cleaning at the last minute. We were told when we signed on to use them that we would have the same ladies cleaning each time so we could be comfortable with who was in our home. That lasted for about 4 months and then every couple of weeks it was someone different. In addition on the morning that they were expected we would get a call that the cleaners were unable to come for one reason or another. This happened two times when I was expecting guest or planning for large dinner and didn't have the time to do the cleaning myself because of the last minute notification. The last straw was when they called to postpone our cleaning on a holiday weekend which was also my birthday and we had big party planned. I called the office to find out why the cancelled and never got a call back. That was it, I was not going to deal will the lack of respect for the customer any longer.

Charge too much

appraisal on light cleaning , two bathrooms , and light dusting bookcase , then mop kitchen . $90.00 for one hour every fourth week. His workers get$17.00 hr and company make #60.00 NOT fair or any discounts/

there is a lot more cost for the owner of any business than just the workers! location rent, insurance, product, marketing...as a former business owner, people just don't realize that it costs ALOT to run a business!

It does cost a lot to run a business. But in the Cleaning Authority world, cost for employees is your least expense! Consider what they do and what they are paid, you people are making out like bandits!

Becky,Patrica & Kiala what a wonderful crew , cleaned the the house perfectly as do all the crews that have been coming to our home for the past year . All the girls love coming here and just love the cats . I guess my only complaint would have to be with management and it is not really a complaint . When we started we were told our time would be between 10:15 and 11:15 am but as time went by my times seem to have been pushed back as late as 3:oo pm . I would love to get back on track with the times that were laid out in the beginning .

Theft

I hired your Irvine branch to clean my house and after my due diligance and talking to the owner, he reassured me he had background reports done on his people. They came in on the 30th of November I had a planned trip and started packing on the 3rd of December . Wanted to wear diamond earrings I had and I went into my bathroom where I kept them and they were gone. I searched all over the bathroom and masterbedroom and they are gone. There was no one else in my home after the cleaning women were here, I left on my trip and when I returned I called the owner in Irvine he reassured me his women did not take my ear rings. All I know is they were the only ones in my home for those 3 days and they are gone. I called the Sherriffs department to report this and the officer told me to never use your company again after experiencing this. I was in hopes you could further investigate this for me. Myrna, don't publish personal information on an open internet website forum. You're just inviting more thieves and such to invade your life.

Now they now you wear diamond jewelry and leave the home for days at a time.

Question : who keeps diamond earrings in the bathroom and why ? Certainly there is a more secure place for things of that nature.

Love the Cleaning Authority. However one day when a crew was cleaning my house, a Quality Inspection person showed up and when I let her in I noticed a strong smell of Marijuana on her. I didn't say anything.

Its the common drug of choice within the TCA community. I could only stomach three months of working here before I had to save myself and move on.

Not sure where you are located but the place I was employed, I would say 1/2 used some type of drug. That goes for the handful of guys that actually got hired here.

Damage

We have used Mygreen, LLC dba The Cleaning Authority of Naples (owners Yobayi Molina or Michael Bustamante) for several months and were happy with their cleaning services until we found out recently that our Hunter Douglas drop down shades had cuts that went right through 3 layers of the shades even damaging the film on the window that protects against the heat and sun in one case.

We had the installer of the shades who is professionally trained by Hunter Douglas to come and inspect them. Additionally they checked all the shades and found similar damages to two other shades. The cuts were consistent with the dusters if they were not in pristine condition. In addition in the Installers experience this type of damage is consistent with either a painting crew or a cleaning crew and as we have not had a painting crew in it has to be the cleaning crew.

It took several attempts for us and the installer to get a response from Michael agreeing to come and meet to assess the damage, that took place on 9/19/18.Both Michael and Yobayi showed up with all the cleaning tools they use. Yobayi immediately used a feather duster and beat the shades violently, similar to a person beating a rug hanging over a clothes line. We asked her to stop. Her reason was to illustrate that their tools could not cause such damage. There were other demonstrations by both Yobayi and Michael illustrating how none of their products could cause such damage. and the installer also . The meeting ended with Michael and Yobayi agreeing to check with The Cleaning Authority franchise whether similar claims have occurred and get back to us by 1 PM the following day, 9/20/2018. At 7:01 PM 9/20/2018 we received an email from Yobayi that they checked with others and found no evidence of such damage and therefore are not responsible and will not make a claim to their insurance company. Since we had not heard from them by 1:00 PM we called corporate and to our amazement we could only speak to the call center who could only sympathize with our situation since each company is a franchise and they have no control over them, even though poor performance could drag down the image of The Cleaning Authority

After Yobayi and Michael departed the 9/19/18 meeting Michael returned and asked if he could take a picture of Beverly Hills vehicle. I showed Michael the crease in one of the folds caused by the beating of the one shade and he just turned and walked away.

During the entire discussion Yobayi and Michael dominated the conversation and talked over attempts by the installer to speak and often interrupted her. She pointed out the cleaning tools they brought may not be in the same condition as those brought by the cleaning crews and the duster they used had a top that could be removed leaving a sharp edge.

Don’t use Cleaning Athority Based in Chandler Az.

Just used first time Oct 5,2019. First deep cleaning was a absolute joke I called the same day and complained,they sent the quality control person out who did try and make things right.

However shame on me for not having checked the downstairs bath as the kitchen and family room had sent me into a spiral.

So I called again on Monday as it was after hours when I checked BR, and told them I did not want to continue cleanings in the future. Today is Wed. and just heard from Patrick the head hauncho and was told he would release me from future cleanings for a additional $112.00 I had already paid $246.00. I said charge me the 112.00 just so I can be finished with this not in anyway professional cleaning Company.

So in essence I paid more for less not once but twice just to be done.

Consumer beware!!!

I have used the Cleaning Authority for many years. I have dealt with a number of franchise owners. I have never had an issue that was not resolved until last November. All previous issues were service related. In November 2017 I discovered some items missing from my home and I knew who took them. I made a police report and contacted the Cleaning Authority about this. Even though they did cooperate with the investigation there was no actual proof that their employee was involved. I knew who and when it happened because the person I suspected was very sly and wouldn't look at me when he was in my home. But of course I had no actual proof. For this reason the owner would not put in an insurance claim. Although I was very upset I had no recourse. I let it pass. My mistake, but I did make sure I put everything away in a safe secure place when the service was scheduled. Since then, in the last couple of months, I am missing money and a figurine. I contacted the owner and he was very apologetic but once again I could not prove anything. He did tell me that during the time of my recent issues, 3 of the employees that serviced my home had left his employ. I canceled the service!!!! He was nice and offered me 2 free cleanings if I came back. My losses are over $8000.00 and that is what he offers. He should have done the right thing and put in an insurance claim with the first episode.

Horrible cleaning service

The Cleaning Authority has been to my house around 6 times. Three of those times, they had to reclean my home.

They do not clean anything basically. The girls that they employ are very young and do not care or wish to be Ckeaning your house. Instead, they prefer to talk on their cell phones most of the time and graze over your furniture with a feather duster. The worst I’ve seen is when they actually cleaned the hardwood on my third floor.

However, they actually did so with Pledge so we all went flying almost breaking our necks. I have a list a mile long of what they haven’t done, unfortunately the *** of what they do right only contains a few points. This is truly robbery. They cone to your house, hardly do anything , and take your money.

The owners could care less.

They won’t be in business long with such poor service. Beware of the Cleaning Authority in Randolph New Jersey!

Your people just left and when I went to put my bath rugs back in the main bathroom it looked like the floor had not been touched. There was dust and hair on the floor and in 2 areas there was actual dirt. I dusted the floor and wiped it up myself but your people should be aware. I have had issues in the past and have notified the office of them. Since this was a makeup due to scheduling issues on my regular day last week I was serviced with rotation 2 which should have been rotation 1. Other than that the house was done pretty good. Thank You

This just happened to me!!! They asked me to change my cleaning day, because I am the only one in the are that gets cleaned on Mondays and it takes them time to get to my house. Well, they have been cleaning for over one year and this was never an issue. They wanted me to change to Tuesday because they have other cleanings in the area. I could not accomodate them becuase of my work schedule so they increased my rate. I have a cookie cutter home and they did not raise the other people who have the same house. The owner said everyone is getting increase, but when I spoke to the other people, they said Michael never spoke with them. He is a liar!!!! This cost me $100 and I am pissed! I am in Naples, FL

I was using their services for almost 3 years. First of all they miss many areas while cleaning and if we go back to them then they would say sorry and keep making same mistake. And they would terminate your services if you complain more than once!. What do they think if they are the only player in the market? Customer satisfaction is meaning less. They dont even know how to talk. Such arrogant people i would never go back to them and would never recommend them Stay happy stay away from them :) Waste of time. Waste of money. I dont earn to spend money on such useless services. So better stay away and go for services who really value their customers.
